Julianna Hutchins, Kairos Community Coordinator

Julianna Hutchins joined the Kairos community in July 2006. She was drawn to ministry within Kairos because she saw evidence of believers in Christ who desire to actively pursue ways to learn, serve, and grow holistically.

Julianna grew up in the state of Georgia, and her family has called Augusta home since she was in high school. While volunteering with her church's junior high youth group during high school, Julianna quickly saw that she loved investing in the lives of others - helping them learn and grow in their understanding of God and their identity in relation to Him. She went on to attend Wheaton College and then returned to her home church to serve on the youth ministry staff for several years. In 2001, she moved to Indiana, where she served in Student Development at Taylor University for five years. During that time, she also completed her Masters in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Over the past several years, Julianna has been thinking and learning a lot about the potential that exists for God to work when one is living and serving in community with others. In light of this, she is excited to be part of what He wants to accomplish in and through the Kairos community.
