General Service Information
Our weekly worship service takes place on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Main Sanctuary of The Falls Church (115 E. Fairfax Street, Falls Church, VA 22046). Each week the service offers a blend of both contemporary and historic liturgy and worship.
Communion
We celebrate communion on the third Sunday of each month. If you are a baptized Christian and are welcome to take communion in your home church, you are also welcome to take communion with us. We invite you to join us in remembering God's continual grace in our lives.
Giving
The second Sunday of each month is used as a time of community giving. Our tithes as a community enable us to be involved in various ministries both in the greater DC area and around the world. The format of our giving time is quite simple: We give as a community, approaching the altar together, and offering whatever gifts we have. Fifty percent of our gifts go to the general church operating fund, with the second half going to a ministry that Kairos chooses to support. Examples of these ministries are Five Talents International (micro-enterprise), St. Brendans Church & Eleuthero (church plants in DC and Maine), Community Needs, Sonrise School (Rwanda), and Akiba School (Kenya).
Dinner & Discussion after Kairos
One of the best ways to get plugged in to Kairos is to join us for dinner and discussion after our Sunday night services. Each Sunday, a group of around 40 people make their way over to one of the local restaurants and have a time of good food and fellowship. If you are new to Kairos, there really is no better way to meet people and find out how to get more involved.
